Here’s an interesting program from the Delaware Art Museum focused on younger audience members:

The Art of Storytelling is an interactive program for children produced through a collaboration between the Delaware Art Museum and Night Kitchen Interactive, a multimedia design firm specializing in online learning and interactive exhibitions.

The Art of Storytelling consists of both audio tours and kiosk activities. For the audio tour, 20 stories about works in the Museum were chosen from a nationwide call for entries. These stories play through iPods, which are available at the Front Desk. The kiosk activity allows children to create visual stories related to the Museum’s collection through a new computer-based program.

For more information on Night Kitchen Interactive, please visit http://www.whatscookin.com or contact the Education Department at the Museum by calling 302-571-9590 ext. 509.
